Lucia Sarto was born in the province of Udine in 1950. In 1961 in Trieste, she won the First Prize at the Regional Painting Competition for middle school students. Her artistic training took place between Venice and Turin, cities in which she participated with considerable success in the first important group exhibitions.

It is in Turin, a famous center of Culture and Italian Art, that she is consecrated as Painter of the Year in a solo exhibition at the Palazzo della Regione with the most significant works of her ‘Romantic Realism’. She has to her credit more than one hundred exhibitions, of which about fifty are solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad.

Her works can be found in the most important public and private collections in Munich, New York, Tokyo, Nagoya, Vienna, Frankfurt, London, Portofino, Venice, Houston, and Beijing.
